As for any outage there have been some hard times, but you continue to take these in your stride and adjust accordingly. I’m still curious as to what it takes to make Jack flap as he’s always so calm – at least on the outside!

Just wanted to take a minute to thank you all for your efforts over the past few months, throughout a very difficult outage period. It has been a long hard slog not only through the outage, but also in the planning and preparation beforehand. We won’t be doing three in a row like this again, especially with the added complication of Covid!

The team on site have been extremely flexible throughout the outage taking on a lot of planned work, but equally importantly a lot of unplanned work, helping us to recover as quickly as possible where things don’t go to plan. It was always going to be difficult doing three lines and the turbine, but without your help and support it would have been a lot worse. We’re very grateful that we can ask for assistance on all kinds of things, and Jack just seems to take it in his stride! Sorry Jack, we’re never letting you leave Allington!

Thanks for everything you have collectively done, we really appreciate your support. Big pat on the back to all of the team, and hopefully a quiet Christmas for all….”

I would like to say a big thank you to you for all the work put in to get everything set up for the shutdown at such short notice, also I would like to thank Craig Vrettos, Neil Young and all their guys for going above and beyond to make sure the shutdown ran smoothly, both Craig and Neil were a pleasure to have on site for this shutdown, they were always willing to help out with any extra work that we required and they worked around the clock to ensure that the shutdown was completed on time in the very short window we had. I would also like to thank Craig Elshaw for stepping in at the last minute to help us out with the scaffolding side of the shutdown, having been let down by our original contractor at the last minute. Craig and his team worked around the clock to make sure we were able to start on time and that all the other contractors had the scaffolding they required to enable them to complete their works on time. Personally I would like to thank Gareth Hopkins for all the hard work he carried out on the shutdown, he was always available to contact and made sure every job he was asked to do was completed as soon as possible, with no fuss and to the highest standards.

I am very pleased with the work and commitment shown by all the staff of Rainham Industrial Services that helped to ensure the shutdown ran smoothly and enabled us to complete the shutdown on time with the very short window of time we had. Again, a big thank you to all the team at Rainham Industrial Services and I look forward to working with you all again.

“I would particularly like to make mention of Kelvin, Ashley, Michael and Sam, all four of them were never phased by the challenges we often dropped on them at the very last moment, they were cooperative and supportive and were only too happy to help achieve the goals required in whatever manner they could support. “Sorry that this has taken a little while to put together but I’d just like to pass comment on your team for their work during our Spring outage. As I’m sure you are aware any ‘normal’ outage provides a variety of challenges and time pressures that put people to the test and can stretch patience to the limit – this outage was no exception to that rule and to make things even more challenging we were all faced with the difficulties of keeping everything going whilst managing the Coronavirus segregation and social distancing recommendations. The service from Rainham throughout the whole outage period was, as always, fantastic and although the make-up of the team numbers changed throughout the outage the guys all stuck to the guidelines for social distancing and site safety which made the whole task much easier.”

“Rainham Industrial Services team supported all of the Cornwall Energy Recovery Centre’s annual outage with scaffolding and Mechanical Services. The teams worked efficiently and effectively at all times which is something SUEZ has come to expect, however, this year they went above and beyond their schedule to assist in bringing the plant back online on time despite the challenges presented by the Covid19 crisis. They were very mindful of the complexities faced by the SUEZ team and worked tirelessly to assist in every way.”

“This meant taking both lines 1 and 2 off at the same time and there were requirements to assist the Rainham mechanical team with the super-heater replacement and also the pit works. Your team achieved all of these safely and on time with all the required modifications, and other outage works. Finally for me the first pass scaffolding on both lines was nothing short of perfect. Thanks again for your all your hard work.”

“Yet again the performance of the Rainham site scaffold team throughout the outage is to be applauded, please send a big thanks to your site team for all the hard work they put in to achieve a safe and on time outage. This outage had the most demanding requirement for scaffolding we have ever had at Suffolk, with the need to put up the scaffold towers in all passes for both lines almost at the same time due to the pit works.”

“I have recently carried out an audit on Rainham at a live installation site and feel that they are an excellent, reliable scaffold company who we should consider on all our minor and major schemes which require scaffolding”

“We absolutely made the right choice in Rainham for the scaffolding for the UK sites. I have just left our afternoon meeting where the Shift Team Leader commented on the scaffolding team, stating how happy he is to have a team on site who are so safety driven.
